It's seven days before Christmas... and those that have not stopped their job search efforts are seeing the fruits of their persistence.
Kudos to Rhonda, Debbie, Erica, and Carmen, two executive directors, an account manager and a fraud claims processor... they secured and accepted job offers in this past week. Fingers crossed for Barry, John and Cathy... a CFO, a superintendent, and a communications manager. Their interviews are this week.
If are reading this blog you are seeking help so here's the skinny! Getting hired in 2006 was more likely than in 2005 and all indications are in place for even better conditions in 2007. My indicators include a significant increase in interviews granted very close to the holidays, the tendency of employers to make more rapid decisions and an increase in employer generosity in compensation.
