Those Pesky Interview Questions...

For those who believe that interviewing is just a matter of schmooze and that you can "wing it" check out the questions below. My colleague, Billie Sucher, gathered some tough interview questions and I'd like to do the same here at CareerBoard. Remember... interviewing is not the time to think... it's the time to perform. Send us some of YOUR tough questions!

I absolutely hate:

"What is your biggest weakness?"

My answers always seem so trite and contrived. But they are honest.

I come from the legal field, so I constantly have to make sure I'm not crossing any lines regarding conflict of interest or violations of confidentiality. Added pressure when you are trying to put your best foot forward for a prospective employer.

This is always a difficult question but the best way to exercise damage control is to bring up a point of weakness that you have overcome.. No one wants to pay for a weakness and indicating that you used to have an issue (careful here) but have conquered and prevailed is actually admirable!!
