Ohio Employers Survey Reveals
Positive Outlook
Cleveland - CareerBoard.com, a Cleveland-based online employment Web site that services all of Ohio's major markets, surveyed a universe of 107 of its current Ohio-based clients.
In the study, 90 percent of the employers reported fourth quarter recruitment activity would increase or stay the same. Fifty-five percent said recruitment would not change, with 10 percent expecting a decrease.
"This is great news for Ohio," said Peter Tuttle, president of CareerBoard.com. "The perception by many Ohioans is that the economy is getting worse, or at least not getting better. Our study shows that might not be the case."
