CareerBoard Hires Affiliate Program Manager

Cleveland - CareerBoard, an online employment service, has hired Megan Hauer as Affiliate Program Manager. Hauer joins CareerBoard after spending 3-plus years with MBNA's Cleveland office and is a 2003 graduate of John Carroll University's Boler School of Business MBA program. Hauer is CareerBoard's first hire since the recent acquisition by HRSmart, Inc. in February, 2004.

CareerBoard's affiliate program allows organizations to add a co-branded career center, highlighting local job openings, to their Web site. Affiliate sites include associations, destination sites, local media and the like. Opportunities for revenue generation are part of the affiliate program as well. Some of CareerBoard's current affiliate partners include Clear Channel Radio, the Employers Resource Council, ClevelandRents, The Ohio League for Nursing, and Cleveland Press.com.
