CareerBoard Launches Revenue-for-Traffic Affiliate Program
Model hopes to empower local associations, nonprofits, and destination sites.

Cleveland – Local organizations now have an additional way to generate revenue via their Web site: Become a CareerBoard affiliate.

CareerBoard.com, an online employment resource targeting the four main regions of Ohio, will now pay affiliates who agree to add a CareerBoard-powered, co-branded career center to their Web site. Affiliates will be paid based on the amount of monthly unique users visiting the career center. Some restrictions will apply.

CareerBoard recently inked a deal with Clear Channel radio in Cleveland to power all six stations’ local jobs section on their Web sites. CareerBoard currently has 19 affiliates.

“This program will allow area organizations and Web sites to harness the power of the Internet to create an additional revenue source,” said CareerBoard president Peter Tuttle. “CareerBoard is always concerned about strengthening our communities. Helping local groups to earn more money via their Web site is just another way to do that.”
