Document Controller - Isle of Grain - Hemel Hempstead - Hamble - 12 Months - 240 per day (Contract)

My client a Leading Energy Supplier based in Isle of Grain, Hemel Hempstead, and Hamble requires a Document Controller for a 12 month contract £240 per day (inside 1r35)

Not an allowance but there will be re-imbursement for mileage since there will be driving between terminals monthly. Commute can be as far as 260 miles - 200 miles monthly. Terminals are in Isle of Grain, Hemel Hempstead, and Hamble. Mileage is based on a round trip. During these trips it would be expected that room and board would also need to be re-imbursed.

Document Controller

Role Overview

Description-Terminals and Pipelines (TnP) is seeking out an organized and experienced Document Controller. This position will be responsible for the management of the office record for compliance, regulatory, company, and business documents.

Requirements:

  • Responsible for implementing the Office of Record documentation procedures and document retention requirements.
  • Files all required forms and records as established in TnP Office of Record procedures.
  • Ensures all Work Management Process (WMP) and Control of Work (CoW) documentation is received and filed in accordance with TnP procedures.
  • Provides support and assistance for updating and distributing P&ID's, repair and inspect reports, gate maps, Station Prints, and related drawings and documents.
  • Leads efforts to gather district equipment documentation and information and keep it up to date.
  • Prepares documentation materials for, and assists in, various internal and external audits.
  • Ensures new document and records management and retention standards/policies are strictly enforced, including training on new digital tools.
  • Ensures project files are set up in accordance with the common process and in compliance with the proper regulatory agencies.
  • Assures project documentation and closeout occurs in a timely manner.
  • Identifies and facilitates regional employee training for all documentation processes and procedures.
  • Acts as a super-user of the documents and record management system.
  • Works closely with other TnP Document Controllers to ensure consistency and reduce redundancy.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with preferred experience in Document Management.
  • PC Skills: ESRI, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Maximo, Bently Alim, Documentum, or similar information management systems.
  • High school diploma or GED required; College degree desirable- 3-5 years of document and records management preferred.
