ALG Computer Training and Consulting (ALG) is a full-service, information technology (IT) service provider that offers training, consulting and support for a company's total solution. In business since 1981, ALG has grown exclusively by word-of-mouth to a total of 35 employees supporting over 6,500 active clients. ALG is available for consultation and support in virtually every area of personal computers including training (6 training centers, plus on-site), software trouble-shooting, development of custom software, network installation and support, hardware maintenance, hardware and software purchases, email design and installation, set-up of internet access and objective analysis of computer needs. Our support is provided as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. ALG has expertise with hundreds of software packages, besides the sixty or more that are offered as formal training workshops at our facilities. ALG is a Microsoft Certified Partner and a State certified school.
Consulting
ALG Consulting services are unique in that we have dozens of consultants who work full-time for our clients. Their expertise is available 24 hours a day, and they can provide a company with a wide variety of services to help plan, manage, trouble-shoot and stay on top of the computer technology juggernaut. These services include:
- Rapid Response for any IT or PC, hardware or software, related problem or question;
- Setting up, monitoring and providing security for computer networks, even wide area networking;
- Providing accounting, manufacturing and operations software solutions;
- Disinfecting and repairing (and preventing!) virus damage;
- Internet, intranet and website programming, set-up, support;
- Set-up and monitoring of email/fax/pager messaging technologies.
Training
The ALG Training Center is dedicated to providing companies with professional training on their office software and hardware. Our training can be tailored to your needs-on-site at your office, hands-on at ALG, customized workshops or one-on-one training.
- Over 60 different hands-on workshops (including Microsoft Office, website design and desktop publishing) improve confidence and productivity with immediate results;
- Workshops provide useful tips, tricks, and techniques through practical hands-on exercises;
- Our instructors are more than people with exceptional teaching skills-they are all highly qualified computer professionals who actually use the software they teach on a regular basis.
